James McGrath hat ein ungew\u00f6hnliches und innovatives Buch ver\u00f6ffentlicht: The Bible and Music<\/em><\/a>. Es nutzt die M\u00f6glichkeiten des World Wide Web, indem es Links und Videos in den Text einbettet. Zugegeben, man muss kein Genie sein, um auf diese Idee zu kommen, aber es wird nicht oft gemacht. Und dabei ist das Buch auch noch kostenlos erh\u00e4ltlich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Thema ist die Bibel und die Musik. Bei der Lekt\u00fcre des Buches wird der Leser jedoch mehr \u00fcber Musik als \u00fcber die Bibel erfahren, da es vor allem dokumentiert, wie die Bibel vielen Komponisten und Musikern Inhalt und Inspiration geliefert hat. Als solches ist es eine gro\u00dfartige Quelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es \u00fcberrascht nicht, dass der Gro\u00dfteil der Musik im Buch klassisch ist, aber es gibt Ausnahmen. Siehe zum Beispiel dieses Video von Metallica<\/a> \u00fcber die zehnte Plage in \u00c4gypten. Der Clip stammt vollst\u00e4ndig aus dem Hollywood-Klassiker \u201eDie zehn Gebote\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich habe vor, ihn das n\u00e4chste Mal zu verwenden, wenn ich das Buch Exodus unterrichte \u2013 und sei es nur, um die Leute zu schockieren!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich verzichte auf eine ausf\u00fchrlichere Besprechung von The Bible and Music<\/em><\/a>; du kannst dir das Buch selbst anschauen. The Lexham English Bible English Greek Reverse Interlinear New Testament<\/a>, downloadable in various formats, makes it possible to look behind the English text to see which Greek words stand behind it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Net Bible<\/a> is not new but changed its name (it used to be Lumina). It offers a unique feature: the text of the NET Bible with the notes added by the translators, giving their reasons for decisions made in translation \u2013 a virtual commentary on the text. It also enables you to open the Greek and Hebrew text and get information on the Greek words (unfortunately, the Hebrew comes without vowel signs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
